Dwight Robertson, generation 2 begins

Poor Pao, as Candice went into labor with their son Dwight, he stood in the background watching helpless but experiencing rather sharp sympathy pains.

When the newlyweds got back from their honeymoon they got straight to business. After all, as Candice explained to Pao, "It's up to me to cement my family's place here in Emerald Plains. We begin tonight but we probably won't live to see the fruits of our labor since that'll be about 10 generations down the road." Pao only smiled, not quite understanding what Candice was on about.

The wedding party was a success. There were no fights or tantrums or arguments even though all the female wedding guests seemed to be wearing the same style of dress. Everyone just seemed happy that Candice and Pao had found each other. Sandy was especially glad as she hoped that Pao would stop her new found best-friend Candice from becoming a work-aholic.

The Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Pao Robertson, exchanged their wedding vows in a small night time ceremony held in the living room of Candice- and now Pao's small dwelling.

The End of the Courtship

That next morning Candice decides to pop the question... she's not one of those girls that needs to test-drive ever car on the lot before making up her mind you know!

The Courtship pt 2

A firm believer in never buying a car without first taking it for a test-drive, Candice invites Pao to stay over one night. She plans a romantice evening, knowing that she has all the time in the world because she's off work the next day!

The Courtship pt 1

Candice decides to put on the charm, knowing that not being a romance-sim and gifted in the art of seduction like Emerald Plains legend Brandon Lillard, she puts her all into it and soon has Pao blushing like a young schooboy.

Pao the Postman

There is one bright spot to the tedium of the studying and cleaning though. Candice strikes up a friendship with her neighborhood postman Pao and soon finds out that he shares a love for the game of chess and doesn't mind helping her out about the house if she uses the right amount of influence.

I'm working 9 to 5, to 2am, to whenever...

She worked long hours, often working all through the night only to wake up early in the morning to clean the little patch of Emerald Plains that she called her own.

Candice knew that to get where she wanted to go in sim-life she was going to have to work very hard and spend long hours developing her sim-skills. So after buying the necessary furniture, like a bed, stove, a table and chairs, as well as, bathroom fixtures, Candice invested in a sturdy bookshelf.

The Robertson Estate

The Robertson Estate Posted by Hello

It's a whole lotta land! But where's the house? Candice was shocked as she realized that putting over 15,000 Simoleans into buying the 5x5 plot of land meant that there was little left over to buy the creature comforts this Fortunre Sim had come to crave.

Determined to earn enough to live in the lifestyle she had previously been accustomed to, she shooes the neighbors who had come to say hello and gets down to some serious studying for her new job in the Medical field.

The Beginning

Lewis Carroll once wrote, "Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop."

This is the beginning of the Robertson family in Emerald Plains. Candice's relative Anita-Mae had once tried settling down in the small town but gave up when her house became overrun with her many children; packed-up and left.

Now Candice has decided to try her luck. As an ambition Fortune Sim children are the last thing on her mind right now even though she knows she has to spawn a 10 generation legacy in order to honor her family and cement their place in Emerald Plains.

At the moment though she is focused on her Medicine career deciding that she needs to have a good amount of simoleans tucked away before she can even think about raising kids. It's a rough start having spent much of her inheritance on the largest tract of land that she could find. But she's managing, and she's also found love, with her neighborhood postman Pao Mellon.
